I put together this post to show you some of my favorites from each session during 2013. I was trying to keep it to 1 per session but some pictures go together and with events you really can't just pick one. :) This is coming from someone (me) who just ordered over 30 8x10's to hang on my walls that have no pictures on them. That's right! I'm starting my year hanging my family memories up and not just leaving them on the computer. I hope you will do the same. :)
heehee his look!
This was the first birth that I shot (though I did videotape one for a friend when I was 16) and it was amazing and totally awesome that it was a home birth. This mama was surrounded by lots of love as she gave birth. Totally amazing!
This little man was suppose to be the first birth I shot but I was just a few minutes too late, as you might know if you read his blog post.
No, this wasn't a Simply Sweet Moments Photography shoot, it was our first styled shoot that I put together for our wedding photography business Our Hearts Photography. This is my sister in law who was our model along with my brother. It was a really fun shoot to do with them in the year of thier 10 year anniversary. :)
The graduate! I loved photographing Dominic, he has the best personality!
A family reunion with softball, soccer, volleyball, food and lots of love. :)
I love how you can see little man's smirk in this picture.
God is an amazing creator of beauty!
Mama and her girls and the 3 generations to celebrate Mother's Day.
These two boys were having soooo much fun in the water that they didn't even care that it was cold. So fun!
Sunsets are one of my favorite things. So are sunrises but I usually don't get to see those unless I have a newborn of my own. ;)
Cuteness overload!
As I was going through all these sessions it made me realize that I was busier than I thought and I am truly blessed by each one of these families who trusted me to do a good job in preserving their family memories. I am honored and thankful. I'm excited to see how God leads me with my photography business for 2014!
Happy New Year everyone!!!
Blessings,
Alaina
