Our Christmas Pictures - La Habra Family Photographer

I told my husband the other day that I decided we'll just send out New Years cards and he asked if I had a picture that I thought would be good to use for a card. Well sure, I have pictures but not a family picture.
So we headed out to a local park on his one day off that he had this week (yesterday) and took some updated pictures.

I won't post the pictures that I used for our card, don't want to spoil it!
While I was taking individual images of the kids I had asked them to tell me a joke. This is their thinking face... except Blake, this is his cheese face. I love his composer hair!
Charlotte was all into sticks and leaves.

My in-laws met us with their dog that the kids totally love.

When you take a guy picture you have to take a serious one. haha
When we got home I put Charlotte by the tree. She is definitely a gift! :)

I hope you all have a MERRY CHRISTmas!

Many Blessings,
Alaina

DITL: Alaina Nunez-Orange County Documentary Photographer

Day In The Life (DITL for short) sessions are photographed in a documentary way. My regular sessions are Lifestyle which are a mix of portraits and candid moments. The difference is, those candid moments, I usually advise you where to stand or which direction to look.

(Lifestyle Session)

With DITL sessions, I do not give you any direction. There's no "stop when you get here" or "look that way". I'm the family member you invite in to tell the story that would otherwise be untold memories.

These are such sweet sessions for me as I know as a mom of 5, I do not always get in the pictures with my children and I am unable to photograph our life because I am living life by being a part of our family life.

So when I am asked to document life moments such as marriage, birth and family life, I feel honored to be trusted with the privilege of being invited into the moments that need not be forgotten.

Have you ever thought of having a DITL session for your family? When family from out of town is gathered together is one of the best times to have one!

I was able to photograph one family that had gathered together for their yearly tamale making day. You can check out that session at, A Family Tradition I was told that I had caught pictures such as their Grandma laughing that no one had ever caught before. How precious is that!? I love that I was able to give them that gift!

You also don't have to wait for a special gathering. Everyday is a gift and should be celebrated and documented. I would love to do that for you!

Contact me so we can set a date! Your family's story is ready to be told.

Blessings,
Alaina

Santa Claus {Alaina Nunez- Orange County Photographer}

The Santa Sessions were a hit! I loved seeing all the kids with their star struck expressions.

Some of the mom's didn't tell their kids they would be visiting with Santa that day, other's, their kids came with letters or lists for Santa.

Here is a preview of the day.

 Santa loves to read.

haha Santa, you're so funny. ;)

Little one wasn't having it, big brother to the rescue, Santa trying to get everyone happy "yay!!!" and the little man on the left... perfectly posed. Yep, this is a keeper! haha

Little one decided that Santa wasn't so bad, after all, he does bring goodies!

Santa loves to sing.

Sadly, we did not raise enough for a fresh water well but we will be able to help provide clean water with the money we were able to raise.

I want to thank you (those who booked a session) for supporting our efforts in providing clean water!

Blessings,
Alaina
