Asher's 1 Year Cake Smash Session {Alaina Nunez - child photography}

Do you remember this little face?

Little Asher was such a sweet newborn guy! For his newborn session he was awake and wanting to look around but toward the end of his session he finally gave up and slept like a little angel.

Just the other week I was able to take his 1 year cake smash pictures. It was so nice to see him and his mama Lacey! He is such a friendly little guy who crawled right over to me and wanted me to pick him up. That was a special treat! He totally made my day. :)

Asher's 1st birthday theme was Monsters so Lacey made some cute banners which we hung in their yard. She also made an awesome little cake!
Here is how it all went down. ;)

Such a fun time!

I hope you enjoyed these as much as I enjoyed taking them!

3-14-13 What's New...

Hi everyone! So let me tell you what I've been up to.

In January I did a mini lifestyle shoot for the Hiatt Family (Chase the Star) and a 1 year birthday cake smash and family session for one of my baby planners. We also got to experience a train trip to LA Union Station which was really neat!

Then in February I was getting everything together for a stylized bridal shoot that we put together for Our Hearts Photography. It turned out awesome! The first part of the shoot is on the blog and the second half will be up on Monday.
I also celebrated being married 9 years to my wonderful husband that God has blessed me with! :)

This month has just begun but it already seems like the calendar was full before we got here! My family went to the mountains which I posted about here and then we do our field trips and nature studies regularly. The most recent place we visited was The Huntington Library which I posted about here.
I just shot a cake smash session yesterday with one of my sweet newborns from last year, so I'll be sharing about that soon.

When I uploaded this picture on my computer that I took I thought it looked fake. So just so you know, I did not photoshop a mountain into my picture and I barely touched it when editing. God created it that beautiful without my help. :)

Hope you're having a great week!
