Boutique: Business Highlight {Periwinkle Poste}

Welcome to week 3 of the Boutique Business Highlights! If you didn't get to read about Jubilee's Jewels or Long Changed you can do so here and here.

Today I'd like to introduce you to Antoniette!

Tell me about yourself.

I'm a Christian, wife, mother, daughter, friend and artist. I began my love of creating when I was in Italy and a cousin who is an architect sat me in his attic studio while our parents all drank cappuccinos downstairs and let me play with all his paints, tools and papers. I was hooked. I began creating as an outlet, but now love to make beautiful scrapbooks for my daughters along with, of course, hair bows, bracelets and anything that will make you say "awww, how cute!"

How did you come up with your business name?

I named my brand after two things I love: Periwinkle Poste.

Where do you draw your inspiration from?

Most of my inspiration used to come from trials and art was my way of making something beautiful in an ugly world during a sad time in my life. Now, I am so blessed and instead of creating beauty, I like to think I embellish what is already beautiful. I love little add ons, like beaded necklaces, a pocket journal you would keep in your purse, hair rosettes for the perfect ponytail. Anything that is the extra touch - not the main event. That's what I think my brand has emerged to.

Antoniette participated in the boutique last year and I have to say that I personally love the felt flower hair clips she makes.She doesn't have an online store so you can only find her products at boutiques that she participates in. Make sure you mark your calendar for the Fall Boutique on October 27th!
