What's the Plan - 2013

So how were your holidays? Mine were really nice! I got to end my 2012 with a lovely family. It was a lifestyle shoot for their yearly tamale making tradition where all the aunts and grandmas and cousins get together to assemble a bunch of tamales and eating them is definitely part of the plan too. Everyone needs to taste test! haha I really had a great time with the Banuelos family! You can check out some their session here.
Now we are halfway through the first month of 2013.  Have you gotten use to writing 2013 yet? Me neither! It still looks funny to me. haha But this year I’m celebrating 5 years of having my business, Simply Sweet Moments Photography. It all started after having Nathan (my 2nd child) and wanting to share my love for photography with others. I’ve learned so very much in these 5 years and I am eager to learn so much more.
So, let me tell you what I currently offer.
Maternity. I really love doing these sessions; with the mama glowing and the dad’s excitement and love for his wife, it’s just so sweet!
Newborn. I’ve done 10 newborn sessions in 2012 alone, which is more than I did the first 4 years combined. I REALLY enjoy them and can’t wait to book more in 2013. I only do these at my location now (unless it’s a Lifestyle session).
Children. I cover different ages and stages, like with the baby plan I can photograph a baby 5 times in their first year. Cake smashes are fun and I got to do my first official cake smash session this year!
Family. Pick a place and I’ll meet you there! Plan on me taking a lot of pictures of your family interacting and not too many of the “cheese”-y pictures.
Now, what’s new for 2013!
Mini Sessions. I will be doing mini sessions 2 times a year (spring and fall), they will be themed but not necessarily with a holiday. These are a treat. Do not miss out on these! Only cake smash session will be available as mini sessions throughout the year.
Lifestyle Sessions. About a 3 hour session in your home capturing the essence of your family. Or for something like a special family get together (tamale making with the aunts and grandmas maybe?).
Birth Sessions. I’m excited to start offering birth sessions later this year. Know any pregnant mamas???
Couples, Engagements and Weddings. I’m starting a new photography venture, Our Hearts Photography, with my sis-in-law, Nancy. Our styles compliment each other in a way that we’re able to capture all the important details and memories during a wedding. We’ve done a couple of styled shoots recently which were fun and got us even more excited about starting this venture. If you're a vendor please contact us, we love meeting new friends! www.facebook.com/ourheartsphotography
I'm excited to see what this year brings and the direction that God leads!
